Terms of Service
Version 0.1-draft
Working draft — subject to final legal review. Placeholders in brackets are to be completed.
1. Who we are
Koridora (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”) is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [COMPANY REG. NUMBER], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. We are an intermediary only
Koridora is a neutral technology platform whose sole purpose is to connect senders and carriers so they can communicate and arrange transport directly between themselves. Senders and carriers contact each other and agree their own terms for how goods will be transported.
Koridora is not a carrier, freight forwarder, transport operator or courier. We do not take possession of, transport, handle, store or deliver any shipment, we are not a party to any transport agreement between users, and we do not set, guarantee or collect the price agreed between them.
3. No responsibility for shipments
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koridora is not responsible or liable for the loss, damage, theft, deterioration, delay or non-delivery of any shipment, nor for its contents, value, condition, packaging, legality or safety, nor for the acts, identity, qualifications, insurance or solvency of any sender or carrier.
Responsibility for a shipment lies entirely with the sender and the carrier under the agreement they make directly with each other, and with any insurance they hold.
4. Your responsibilities
Senders must describe shipments accurately, only send goods that are legal to send and transport, package them properly, and arrange their own insurance. Carriers must hold the licences, permits and insurance required to carry goods and must transport lawfully and safely. Users must not use the Platform to arrange transport of illegal, dangerous or prohibited goods.
5. Trust features and insurance
Any verification badge, rating or review is provided to assist users but is not a guarantee by Koridora of anyone’s identity, reliability or insurance. Koridora does not provide insurance for shipments; users are responsible for their own cover.
6. Disputes between users
Any dispute between a sender and a carrier — including over loss, damage, delay or payment — is solely between those users. Koridora is under no obligation to become involved and is not liable for the outcome.
7. Mandatory law prevails
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including rights granted to consumers under mandatory law and any mandatory transport law that applies between users.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW COUNTRY], subject to the courts of [COURTS / VENUE], without prejudice to any mandatory rights of consumers in their country of residence. Questions: [CONTACT EMAIL].
